So last friday we said goodbye to the class of FG14 who got their diplomas and shared their insights and experiences from LiA with us. It was very valuable for us in FG15 and I hope we can do the same for FG16 the same time next year.
We celebrated their well-doing (84% were hired after their internship!) as well as the arrival av the newbies, the Futuregamers of 2016, by having a board game night. There were games, drinks, and nice people. I spent the evening talking to a bunch of nice people and playing Munchkin.
If your workplace or game dev education is not having board game evenings, you should start! It's a great opportunity to get to know your co-workers better.
My only regret is that I couldn't stay longer as I had get up early for work on Saturday.
There will be a gamejam at Futuregames on the 10th of September, with the aim of getting FG16 ready for their first year here at Futuregames. I hope I can attend!
